The team behind the work
Aaron Arsenault
Aaron is a vertically integrated engineer with over 15 years of experience designing complex systems from the ground up — spanning mechanical design, electrical engineering, control systems, machine vision, and production software development.
His most significant body of work was at RxSafe, where he served as the primary architect of the RapidPakRx strip pouch packager and RapidCardRx blister card system — taking both products from initial concept through production. On both platforms, Aaron was responsible for nearly all software design and development, and invented the core machine vision techniques for pill detection, counting, and classification that are now protected by multiple patents.
Prior to pharmacy automation, Aaron has applied his expertise across defense and aerospace, industrial automation, and biotech lighting and automation — giving AA Innovative Solutions an unusually broad cross-industry engineering perspective.

During the development of the RapidPakRx system, Aaron invented a novel machine vision approach for detecting, counting, and classifying pills within sealed medication pouches — a technically demanding problem requiring real-time image processing under production conditions. These techniques are protected by multiple patents and represent a core area of competitive differentiation for AA Innovative Solutions in pharmaceutical and precision automation engagements.
